Sometimes, more often than expected, this metaphor is used also in game development environment. In this case it's referred to the story about mobile controls.

A Smart Joystick is a good solution for mobile games, It usually allows the player to control the avatar on the screen with a good precision without phisical feedback, and this is why I've choose to use it.

It's implementation was smooth, and tests have worked well.

But once published on itch.io a big issue has been revealed: at first launch the game doesn't start properly.

Actually I've made a step back and removed the smart joystick asset, I've also sent a message to the developer, hoping to receive soon an answer.

Actually the game still works fine also with the buttons solution but i hope to return to the smart joystick asap.
